Riverside County Judges Forum
Did you know there’s a judges' election on the ballot this November 3rd? You get a voice in choosing the next JUDGE to take the bench in the Riverside Superior Criminal Court.
This is a contest that deserves your full attention and is often overlooked because...let's just say it: It's hard to make time for all The Things:
We have a rare opportunity — an open seat on the Superior Court bench and a space where you can come and hear them, break bread with students, concerned residents, community members, and the candidates.
Judges matter because they interpret the law and make rulings that affect people's lives every day. Every registered voter who casts a ballot from Corona to Blythe decides who will interpret the law.
You may think you'll never set foot in a courtroom. But your neighbor might. Your kid might. Someone in your congregation might. They will face the judge we choose. Judges decide bail. They decide sentences. They decide who gets a second chance and who has access to justice — and who doesn't.
Come and listen to the candidates, see how they align with your values, inform others, and VOTE!!
Join Us Monday, September 21st at 6:00 PM. Hear both candidates speak!! Food will be provided.
